Tchaikovsky

Now The XV International Tchaikowsky Compeitition is finishing.
I listened wonderful performances from Moscow live streaming by medici.tv
All the participants have high level technique, so, what made the different results? I think the musicality, quality and color of the sound, sens of harmony, personality and luck.
I put the links to watch replay of the Tchaikowsky competition.

Gala Concert in Moscow
Winners performed with an orchestra conducted by Varely Gergiev! in the presence of Vladimir Putin.

All performances of piano category

Lucas Debargue who made the biggest surprise in the piano competition. He started studying the piano at the age of 11! and he could reach to the 4th prize of Tchaikovsky Competition.
His 1st round

Sergei Redkin  I fond a well balanced pianist.
His 2nd round solo

Dmitry Masleev the 1st prize winner. He played Totentanz by Liszt and Dance Macabre by Saint-Saens/Liszt. These 2 pieces mean the same thing, the first one is in German and the second one is in French. I had played Totentanz which is dramatic and extremely virtuoso piece.
So he showed the big entertainment at the 2nd round solo and then he presented his musicality by Mozart's Piano Concerto in d minor.
His 2nd round solo
His 2nd round concerto

Concerto pour piano no.2 de Saint-Saëns

I discovered  my performance on youtube video which didn't appear on google search but on the site of Young Artist Concert.
This video was taken at the concert in Tokyo, 1999, with Hikarigaoka Orchestra and Kazuki Yamada as a conductor. Surprise to find out my performance at the university student period, and with a young gifted conductor who conducts top orchestras worldwide now.
